| Hot Topic was added to our herd because he has the Ambassador lines of Alfalfa, the Ashley/Ambassador lines of Big Deal, and the Royal Majesty/Ambassador lines of Sure Thing, and we are hoping that this is the buck that will bring all of these lines together. Topic is an impressive buck, being incredibly sharp, open, and dairy. He is very long bodied, tall, and walks with great width in the rear end. He easiliy finished his championship this year at three years of age. So far we have been very pleased with his first daughters, which are all very tall, dairy, open, flat boned, stylish does. His first milking daughters have shown very well, with two first fresheners earning RCH wins, and another first freshening two year old winning GCH and BU! Topic is also the sire of our 2003 Spotlight Sale Nomination, Teardrops Hot Love Affair. Topic already has several dry yearling daughters who have earned legs, and we feel that this is just the beginning of great things to come from his daughters. His dam, Kastemur's Crown Delainy, was the 2nd place three year old at the 2002 National Show. Her sire, ++*B Brown Sugar's Crown Amassador, was the three time National Show Premier Sire and is the sire to the 1997 National Champion, GCH Kastdemur's Crown Extatic 3*M, and the 1999 National Champion, GCH Kastdemur's Crown Finale 2*M. Topic's sire, *B Kastdemur's LH Full Service, was the 1999 National Show Premier Sire, and also sired the 1999 and 2001 Reserve National Junior Champions. At the 2001 National Show, his milking daughters were 2nd place two year old with 2nd udder, 8th place two year old, and 2nd place milking yearling. The 2nd place milking yearling, Kastdemur's Solara, was also the high selling doe in the 2001 Colorama sale. Full Service's Sr. Get of sire was also 2nd place at the 2001 Nationals and 1st place at the 2001 District VII Nubian Specialty. |
