| Romance has been catching everyone's eye right from the start, winning JCH several times as a kid and dry yearling. Now as a five year old (as she is pictured above) she is still topping her class and going GCH, with 4 first place, 1 second place, 2 GCH, 1 RCH, and 2 BOB wins so far in five shows. She is very stong in both general appearance and mammary system, and is a very long bodied, dairy doe. Her dam Rouge was a beautiful doe, and was twice GCH at the New York State Fair and was also the fourth place aged doe at the 1997 Nationals. Rouge's other daughter CH Ivy Oboth Cupid's Poison Ruble was our top show doe for many years and was also GCH at the NYS Fair as a three year old. Romance was the dam of our 2003 Spotlight Sale doe, Teardrops Hot Love Affair, who sold for $3000. Romances daughters are also beginning to show well, with four of them already earning a leg towards their championship. At the 2004 District II Nubian Specialty her two milking daughters were 1st place three year old and second place two year old, and her dry yearling daughters from last year have both been BJDIS. |
