Kane was purchased from Willow Run Dairy, and we would like to thank Patty Dean and Kane's breeder Karen Lewis for making this very promising young buck available to us.  Kane's blend of bloodlines is really exciting.  His sire, Ozone, goes back to GCH Unicorn Farm Patches, the 1992 National Champion, and some well proven sires, included *B GCH Rio Del Oro's Dandy Lion, ++*B C/F Blaise, and *B Sweet Harvest Rain Maker.  His dam Kalila has not been shown much until this year, when she was selected as the 2005 ADGA National Champion Nubian with Reserve Best Udder!  Her littermate sister, GCH Lassenwood Miller Kiona, owned by Kastdemur's Dairy Goats, finished her championship last year as a three year old and was 4th place in her class at the National Show. 

Kane is a very tall, long, dairy flashy buck and we really feel that he will be an excellent cross with our does.  His first kids are absolutely lovely, and so far have all been very eye-catching, sharp, correct, and dairy.  One daughter, despite being the youngest kid in her class, was the first place junior kid at the 2005 NYS Fair.  We hopefully will be freshening one of his kid's in the spring and are using Kane very heavily in our breeding program this winter.
