| Butterfly is a very special doe to us, being a fourth generation Teardrops permanent champion, and now as a four year old appraising 91 EEEE, making her the third generation to appraise excellent. Butterfly has her dam's same great strength of mammary system, feet and legs, style, and breed character. She is even more dairy and level than Kiss, with a more smoothly blended front end. We feel that this doe has one of the best mammary systems in the herd and appraised with a 45 in rear uddder height! Butterfly and her dam Kiss have been first place almost every time shown in the dam and daughter class. As a four year old, she has added even more depth and udder capacity (pictured above at 4). Last year she was named the 2004 State Fair Champion Nubian, over her dam Kiss, with her sister Kate going Reserve. Her other milking maternal sister Irish earned a BIS! |
